A Photo Essay

This week we’re off celebrating the 4th of July with family friends.

So, both in honor of our week off and in honor of the US holiday, this week’s post is a pictorial essay—a series of firework photos.

If you’re celebrating the festivities of the holiday, here are some oohs and aahs for your enjoyment.

If you’ve ever tried to photograph fireworks, you know it’s kind of like trying to photograph the moon, not an easy feat.

Therefore, it’s worth noting all photos were taken by my hubby Igor K. They were snapped with his phone at an event worthy of fireworks.

The take your breath away kind of fireworks. Photo taken during our very first vacation as a family to the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida.

We’re so fortunate…several of our neighbors around the lake put on gorgeous displays. We sit on the dock and feel like we can reach out and touch the fireworks.
